LG queen recently created a gorgeous tablescape that I am very excited to share with you all today. The tablescape, designed for spring, has so much rustic charm to it and as she mentions in her video, the mixed metal look is absolutely stunning.
I love the idea of mixing rustic elements with glam bling pieces. The features on this table fit perfectly together and the gold butterfly vases are a beautiful touch. They add a bit of whimsy and animation to the setting. LG Queen has combined gorgeous natural colors with a spot of bright coral and both silver and gold to give this table life.
Coral has been a favorite color this year along with Pantone’s green while the use of hydrangeas has increased in designs too. Cue the Tayra Perez Project’s DIY Floral Wrap Centerpiece with beautiful white hydrangeas, Living Luxuriously for Less's Event Centerpiece, as well as Momma From Scratch’s Wedding Centerpieces.
For the floral details in this gorgeous tablescape, LG Queen has used white and coral hydrangeas to add a fresh touch to the table and have combined the gold starburst rhinestone buckle with the silver antique starburst napkin ring for a beautiful and grand finish to the bouquet.
We’ve seen other home décor and DIY YouTubers making use of a combination of bling elements and I thoroughly enjoy seeing how the different designs look. It’s a great way to kick your bling elements up a notch. Creating your own unique pieces also ensures that your table is absolutely sparkling from top to bottom with gorgeous out of this world bling.
The smaller vases have been decorated with the rhinestone mesh ribbon to add sparkle and to tie them in with the rest of the design. The rhinestone mesh ribbon is one of our most versatile products and can be used in so many different ways. Most often, it’s used to add a special touch to items like vases, candleholders (and even candles themselves), photo frames and more but it also makes for a super easy glam table runner, possibly the easiest table runner you’ll ever craft in your life.
Moving on to the individual table setting elements, LG Queen shows us a number of ways to fold napkins. One, using a bow-tie method and the other using a fan method. I personally love the fan fold on this table as it adds a whole lot of elegance but the bow-tie method looks just as beautiful with the antique starburst napkin ring in gold.
Playing around with different napkin folds and finding the fold that suits your table perfectly can enhance your table setting and almost change the look and feel. Melanie Turner showed us how a simple change in fold can create a completely different table design in her glam fall tablescape. Don’t be scared to explore new ways of creating your individual place settings by simply changing the napkin fold. This is a great way to mix the look and feel of a budget place-setting as well.
I’d love to know what your thoughts are on this table setting, as I’m sure LG Queen would too. Don’t be shy and leave your comment on the video.
