"Bling on the glam" Fall tablescape and tutorial
We've got an exciting new Living Luxuriously For Less video to share with you guys and it's just in time for Thanksgiving. Those of you who are looking for some Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration, you've come to the right place!
For this video, Melanie put together a stunning Fall tablescape with a beautiful white, cream, and gold color palette which feels incredibly plush. Melanie's own words in the video are: "Details make all the difference" and for this tablescape, she really chose out gorgeous details to pair together. It's these details that all work together to create the perfect fall tablescape.
It's hard to pinpoint exactly which of the decor pieces are my favorite as they are so beautiful and they work together seamlessly to create the final product.
I loved the golden pumpkins just above each place setting. These pretty items are exactly what a glam thanksgiving table needs and they mirrored the other golden elements Melanie used on her table. From the glasses right down to the flower rhinestone napkin ring used for her stunning napkin folds all these items look fantastic together on this table.
I will say that the illustrations on the plates shown near the end of the video were, for me, a cherry on the top. Not only were they beautiful but they just seemed to give the table a little extra character.
The "bling on the glam video" not only showcases the tablescape but also offers three lovely options and tutorials for napkin folds to create your perfect tablescape. All three options are quite easy to fold and Melanie explains the process step-by-step, making the fold that much easier.
The first napkin Melanie shows us is a simple but impressive and dramatic fold. This pretty napkin looks like the bow fold with the difference being that it folds over the back of the plate. It's quite pretty and looks very elegant on the table.
The second fold is what she calls the peacock fold due to the resemblance of a peacock fanning its tail. This fold is super pretty and even though it looks more tricky to achieve, it's actually quite easy to fold.
And lastly, the dapper drape, which looks a little more masculine and makes me think a bit of a tie is absolutely gorgeous on these plates.
Between these three stunning folds and the inspiration Living Luxuriously For Less has put together for us, there's no doubt that your own Thanksgiving table will look spectacular.
