Two absolutely gorgeous Mother's day bling DIY projects

Trish Davis has made a fantastic Youtube video that I am beyond excited to share with you. Her two gorgeous Mother's day tutorials are absolutely sparkling and super easy to make, just the way we all like our DIYs here at totally Dazzled. 

Both DIYs are in black, silver, and white to suit Trish Davis's home decor but remember that you could choose any color combination to work with and any style of bling pieces that suit your needs best. Also, while this video was created for Mother's day, both of these DIYs could be used for home decoration, created to gift to a friend as a special birthday gift, or in any number of events throughout the year. The pillow and wreath are both absolutely stunning!

Trish takes us step by step through each phase of the DIY, carefully explaining her thoughts and the process she followed in order to achieve the end result. As mentioned earlier, she has made two DIYs, a gorgeous satin and bling wreath as well as a striking, modern bling pillow. She's used a beautiful silver gray satin ribbon for the wreath, a white satin for the bow, some lace, and a wide selection of bling brooches and flat backs to decorate it.

For the pillow, she's opted for a plain black, which makes a perfect canvas for the gorgeous sequined string and antique starburst rhinestone brooch.

Both of these projects look high-end and would make stunning additions to a black and white event or dinner party too. I love the different ideas Trish shares for decorating her pillow. The heart, the word "love" and the final choice of a bling circle are all stunning ideas. I guess if you were giving this as a gift to someone, you could even customize their pillows. For example, if you were giving them as a wedding gift, perhaps a Mr and Mrs pillow would be great? Otherwise, if they were being given as a birthday gift, a set of initials would also look stunning or a word that best describes the recipient of the gift. 

Trish really makes this set of DIYs look like a cinch to create and her instructions are so clear. Her seemingly effortless arrangement of the wreath is inspiring and she leaves a lot of room for customization.
