Ashley Radosav from Ashley Nicole Events Inc takes us into her world of wedding planning
Ashley Radosav, Founder, and CEO of Ashley Nicole Events Inc gave us the scoop on her business and shared some of the stunning events that they’ve completed to date. Their work is vibrant, diverse, and absolutely fresh. Each event holds a special touch with the focus on the bride and groom’s personal tastes and their choice of details.
I absolutely love their opening quote from our interview and thought I’d share it as there is no better way to put their company into perspective:
“We are a boutique Chicago based wedding and event planning company making the To- Dos before the I-Dos manageable since 2014.”
Being a boutique planning company, Ashley only takes on a select few clients a year, giving her the time to fully focus on each client and develop the concept and theme to perfection. She perfects each event by getting to know her clients on a personal level and seeking out the details of their journey as a couple. It’s a two-way road that Ashley walks and she develops a friendship with each of her clients. Ashley’s specialty is breaking the boundaries and going beyond what tradition requires. She encourages each couple that she works with to incorporate the ideas that will really bring their wedding day to life, no matter how out there or crazy it may seem. To her, it’s about developing a love story with all of the details that can translate into an event that will make memories for a lifetime.
“If my client wanted to have an all-male bridal party, a dueling piano as entertainment and donuts for dinner, I want them to have that. I do not want them to do tradition just for tradition's sake.”
Ashley, who had a very different idea of what she would want as a career, stumbled into event planning quite by chance. Having, at first, wanted to be a world-renowned actress at a young age (or princess, whichever came first as she says in her interview) went on to study to become a crime scene analyst. However, it was in college where she joined a student organization and found her true passion. The organization planned and put together live entertainment events on her campus. Ashley found that she thoroughly enjoyed the art of bringing joy to people through events and occasions. As she says, she could not have planned her future career better.
Ashley’s day is jam-packed with duties both related to her career and her personal life. Her day begins with that ritual cup of coffee so many of us need in the morning. Checking Instagram for the latest additions to her feed and on to being a superhero combo of mom to furbabies, wife and girl boss. She loves what she does and infuses passion into everything from meetings with clients right down to the basic nitty-gritty of the planning schedule. For Ashley, it’s a huge pleasure honing her craft by attending industry events and continually putting her all into executing the events that she plans.
She enjoys the small things in life, not only enjoys them, it’s the small things that matter most to Ashley. Reading, spending time with her husband and watching shows like Law & Order color her life beautiful.
Her favorite color trends for the year are the mixed metal trend and bright colors. More specifically, pops of bright colors which Ashley feels makes everything just that much more cheerful.
