A beautiful bling and purple mother's day tablescape

I am totally in love with this tablescape and the DIYs that Styled by Dana put together making this tablescape. Spoilt for choice, she has given us more than enough to work with and I'm totally looking forward to setting up my own mother's day table with some of these ideas.

There are a number of beautiful details on Styled by Dana's table that makes this a very special table setting. The lavender, gray, and cream color combination is so very gentle and mirrors the choice of bling pieces. There's no doubt that all the moms seated at this table will feel beyond special on their day.

From the delicate menu designs created with a stunning cream and lavender paper and embellished with the antique starburst rhinestone brooch to the gorgeous purple napkins with the flower rhinestone napkin ring to hold it together, this tablescape is all elegant glamor. I love the combination of sophisticated bling pieces and the more modern take on the centerpiece. To me, this instantly communicates that there will be more than one generation seated at this table and there is something for everyone here.

The handmade centerpiece is a total stunner. Dana created this with cardboard stock, beautiful patterned paper, rhinestone pieces, and pretty floral elements. In her video, she illustrates how a simple difference in the color and pattern can change the look completely. I love this, you could get totally creative with your lettering. I bet this is a gift mom would love to keep as a keepsake too.

All in all, this tablescape is gorgeously minimal. Dana has put only the most necessary items on the table but masterfully designed it in such a way that the table does not look empty but rather warm and inviting. The shades of purple is a great way to ensure that there is a bit of dimension on the table and that it doesn't look flat. Also, the use of cream is a great way to add a bit of that warmth to the design.
