Melanie Turner Diamonds, Diapers, and Dior

This glam baby shower turned everyone's heads.

Organizing an event, whether it's  a baby shower, wedding or  a big party is not always easy  and it's the smaller details that      make or break the final outcome of the project. In today's video, you'll get to see  exactly how small details can  enhance the event and add a special touch to the baby shower.

Today's guest videos not a  tutorial but we wanted to    showcase the beautiful baby shower Melanie Turner from  Living Luxuriously for Less put  together. First off, we want to  say that we are so pleased that   our products were a part of this    gorgeous event. Melanie really  put together a stunning event, no doubt her clients were beyond happy with the outcome. The theme, Diamonds, Diapers, and Dior is too cute and I can’t think of a better way to kick start little Ava’s entry into this world. As Melanie explains in her video, she used plenty of bling to communicate the diamond concept and even scattered a few loose rhinestones on the tables just to add that extra luxury and sparkle to each table setting.

The color palette is absolute perfection. The gold and blush tones mixed with neutral colors gave the entire event an elegant and timeless feel and really brought home the diamonds and Dior part of the baby shower concept. Another detail that brought the elegance of this event together was that of the napkin rings. Melanie incorporated our gold rhinestone and pearl napkin rings by pairing them with a beautiful pink satin napkin. The resulting look and feel was super sleek and very pretty.

Some of the small details that I personally fell in love with included the Miss Dior Floral Bouquet sprayed onto the flowers – This fragrance smells divine and I’m sure the guests loved the glorious scent of the flowers. The rolled up diapers placed on each table – I totally loved this. Melanie did an excellent job of making the diapers look quite sweet and not at all bulky.

The stunning chair sash design tied together with one of our newest products was also a highlight for me. The unique way of tying the sash in the style of the Japanese Obi (used for Kimonos) looked lovely and our buckle looked amazing against the fabric. A little something extra went to each guest as they were allowed to take home a gold rhinestone cross brooch each that Melanie had perfectly packaged in Organza and set out in a 3-tier display box lined with ivory rose petals. This display was absolutely stunning and the guests loved their gifts. To set the tone and the table the favors were displayed on, Melanie used the scripture; "Every good and perfect gift is from above" - James 1:17 which she printed out and framed in a gold frame. 

Melanie has a fine eye for detail and her passion for what she does can clearly be seen in her work. Living Luxuriously For Less lives up to its name 100% and all in all this was a stunning event. We at Totally Dazzled simply can’t wait to see the next project Melanie works on.

Of course, I loved the big AVA letters totally covered in bling too. Who wouldn’t love this? It gave so much depth to an already stunning backdrop making the glitter-covered letters a small but essential design detail.

Our newest product used for the chair sash is coming soon to our online store; The flower rhinestone napkin ring and the gold rhinestone cross brooch were all used in the design and decor to add sparkle to this gorgeous baby shower.
