This gorgeous timeless wedding color theme is beyond beautiful and takes me into a whole new world just looking at it. I'll be exploring color themes throughout spring and the first few color themes are all muted or pastel colors. I came across the dusty blue theme by chance while searching for gray wedding color combinations and I will say that this as a base color holds so much promise. I can't wait to explore these color combinations more as spring goes along.
Dusty blue pairs exceptionally well with warm colors. A neutral palette with highlight hints of gold, champagne, bronze and even rose gold can take a dusty blue from innocent to sultry and passionate.

Taking the vast array of colors that look absolutely amazing when paired with dusty blue into consideration, I felt that sticking to a white, soft gray and beige palette would be a great spring combination. While these colors make for a soft combo, they still feel fresh and light, making me feel like it would be a great color combo for early Fall too.
I simply adore how well gold pairs with dusty blue. It's almost as if the two were made for each other and the result of the combination is absolutely stylish. We recently featured a Totally Dazzled Tutorial in which we made the gorgeous brooch ball centerpieces as a DIY wedding project pictured in the inspiration collage above. We added a few pearl pieces to the mix as well and I thought they'd look amazing as centerpieces for a dusty blue wedding reception theme. In fact, the gold really does add an element of old world charm to this timeless color.
I also love that this color doesn't feel especially feminine or masculine. It's a good mix for couples who want to embrace a complete balance in their lives, starting on their wedding day.
The brooch ball centerpieces can be made with a selection of silver or gold brooches with clear stones or pearl, whichever suit your tastes the best.
