DAVID TUTERA CELEBRATIONS BIG ANG’S SON’S WEDDING

We can't contain our excitement -our products were requested AGAIN for David Tutera's CELEBrations

Last week I covered our very first appearance on TV and am super excited to be covering our second appearance on TV. That is, one of our products appeared on David Tutera’s CELEBrations show. Before I get into the nitty gritty of this week’s post, I’m sure you all know just how big this show is, capturing nearly 2 million views each week and a combined approximate 6 million views when the re-runs are included. CELEBrations is big, extravagant, and extremely exciting.

The second time we were contacted by David Tutera’s producers we received an email requesting the use of our Gold Floral Rhinestone Napkin Ring for Big Ang’s son’s wedding. One of my favorite lines in the email read: “David has requested your napkin rings again for our next event. He is obviously a fan!” We couldn’t help but feel a little ridiculous in the office that day.

Big Ang, for those of you who don’t know, featured as a mob wife in reality show Mob Wives. She was well known for her larger than life personality and it was fascinating to watch David Tutera at work in this evidently larger than life family.

Sadly, Big Ang passed away at age 55, just after the show aired after a long battle with Cancer. We are thoroughly honored to have been a part of her son’s wedding and that the world got to see this amazing event unfold on TV. We hope that Big Ang’s family can take consolation in the fact that she is in a better place and rests in peace.

One of the highlights in this show (for us at Totally Dazzled, at least) was all the bling to be seen. Even big Ang had a row of gorgeously glittering bling on her sleek black dress. It was definitely a wedding with sparkle and I just can’t resist sparkle.

The event was as expected, immense and beautiful. The guest list was extensive so it was imperative for David to find a venue which could comfortably cater for all of the guests without feeling too packed and he did a great job at it. White, pink and champagne were the prevalent colors with shades of pink adding depth in the details. You can see our Napkin rings around the lovely pastel pink napkins.

All in all, it was a stunning event and it seemed that family, guests and Big Ang herself was happy with the outcome.  Congratulations to the happy bride and groom, may your lives be filled with joy and love.
