Miss Plan It's Tuxedo Sweets and Treats Table DIY Tutorial

An awesome event and wedding DIY from Guest Youtuber and blogger Miss Plan It

I'm so excited to be sharing this fantastic DIY with you all today. As you may have come to realize, I live by the motto more for less. At Totally Dazzled, we also feel that the more I'm referring to here is not just about quantity but about quality. When you're setting up a DIY event, wedding, birthday party or even a special dinner...every cent counts. 

Miss Plan It who created this awesome YouTube video feels the same way and as her slogan says; "Remember, when every penny counts, count on MissPlanIt."

This sweets and treats table was set up for a community member who was in the process of planning a wedding reception with her daughter. The theme of the DIY was inspired by the classic tuxedo.

Miss Plan it has sourced some amazing dollar store finds and the links can be found in her Youtube video description so you'll be able to follow her step by step while making this DIY for your event. While the video uses black and beige with silver sparkle pieces, there's just about no limit to what you can do with your project. Change up the texture and the size of the ribbon to get a different look and feel and choose your own rhinestone embellishments to suit the theme of your wedding or event. Psst... this tutorial is great for glamming up a few of your own candy jars at home too!

The final Tuxedo sweets and treats table looked fantastic and Miss Plan It shares a few fantastic ideas in the video, using containers stacked on top of one another to create new and interesting vase shapes (using two smaller vases to create one larger one could also potentially save you money). I absolutely love how she doubled up the bling on the containers, using a combination of glam sparkle pieces and luxurious looking ribbon to bring her table to life. The bling pieces on the table are excellent details and immediately made me think of diamonds and jewels that one usually sees at formal-wear events.

While I loved every jar made in this video, I absolutely adore the final jar design Miss Plan It made using layers of black and beige ribbon and our Crystal Buckle Slide. We often see this slide being used for invitation designs and it's great to see how diverse it can be in all the various ways our talented customers make use of it.
